Although growing up surrounded by music, Kyle took to it slowly—but quickly found his edge. Rebuilding his dads old home studio from the ground up, he made it his own, making room for his more modern tones.

Under the name For Nothing Is Written, Kyle's tone is a blend of atmospheric guitars, introspective lyrics, and dynamic rock textures. Drawing from alternative rock, post-hardcore, and pop-punk influences he creates emotionally driven melodic rock that feels personal but open-ended for the listener.

With a name inspired by the Lawrence of Arabia "Nothing is Written" quote, Kyle explores the idea that the future is shaped by the choices we make. His releases include the EP 'Follow Your Heart Only So Far', the single 'Long and Short of It,' and his newest track 'My Grasp on What is Real' which dives into reflection of the past and the need to move forward.
